The cloth
A small windowpane check in plum. Garden Plum Check Cotton Duster keeps the Quorva line: wrist, closed neck, floor hem, opaque cotton. Snaps close the collar and the front, one after another. Two ruffle tiers sit just above the hem. They add shape, and they do not shorten it. Wear it for candle-lighting and the slow day that follows. There is ease enough for a dress underneath.
