The cloth
When the night is the point. Velvet so deep it reads nearly black until the light moves. The collar is closed and calm. One line of buttons, then the floor. It is the top of the collection, and you can still sit down in it.
Opaque velvet with a restrained sheen. Dense pile, fully covered at the sleeve and the hem.
