The cloth
A floor-length cotton piece for the days you are simply dressed and going out the door. Nutmeg Rose Quilted Cotton Duster is diamond quilting across rose cloth. A covered zip closes from the collar toward the hem and is meant to stay up. Two ruffle tiers sit just above the hem. They add shape, and they do not shorten it. Sleeves reach the wrist and stop there. The hem meets the floor. You can sit down in it, and the front still meets.
Opaque cotton in rose, with a dry face and no open weave. The quilted sits in the cloth, not on a thin ground.
