For an ordinary afternoon that still wants a finished layer, this is solid wine, unpatterned and fully covered, cut as a covered duster. The cotton stays opaque. High stand collar, buttoned through. Buttons run from the collar downward, so the front meets. A smocked panel across the back gives ease without pulling the front open. The hem meets the floor. You can sit down in it, and the front still meets.
