The cloth
A ankle-length velvet piece for Shabbos, when the layer should feel considered and still easy. Inlet Olive Check Velvet Duster is a small windowpane check in olive. The funnel is sewn closed. The sash only marks the waist. Two ruffle tiers sit just above the hem. They add shape, and they do not shorten it. Sleeves reach the wrist and stop there. The hem falls to the ankle and still covers past mid-calf. It is a layer with room, sized the way the rest of the house is sized.
Opaque velvet in olive, with a low sheen and a dense pile. The check sits in the cloth, not on a thin ground.
