For a Shabbos table and the hours after, this is solid navy, unpatterned and fully covered, cut as a covered duster. The velvet stays opaque. High stand collar, buttoned through. Buttons run from the collar downward, so the front meets. Side-seam pockets stay flat when the hands are out. The hem meets the floor. It is a layer with room, sized the way the rest of the house is sized.
