Camellia Wine Damask Quilt Duster

The cloth

For a cooler evening that still wants a duster, not a coat, this is a tonal damask medallion woven into wine cloth, cut as a covered duster. The quilted cloth stays opaque. High stand collar, zipped closed from the throat. A covered zip closes from the collar toward the hem and is meant to stay up. A narrow lace trim finishes the cuff and is backed with the same opaque cloth, so the wrist stays covered. The hem meets the floor. You can sit down in it, and the front still meets.

Opaque quilted cloth in wine. The stitch gives a little structure; the coverage does not thin out. The damask sits in the cloth, not on a thin ground.

Care
