The cloth
Meadow Gilt Navy Quilt Duster is for the turn in the weather, when one more layer is the outfit. Navy cloth traced with a thin gilt line, in opaque quilted cloth. A covered zip closes from the collar toward the hem and is meant to stay up. Sleeves finish at the wrist. The hem falls to the ankle and still covers past mid-calf. A self sash marks the waist over a front that is already closed. There is ease enough for a dress underneath.
Opaque quilted cloth in navy. The stitch gives a little structure; the coverage does not thin out. The gilt sits in the cloth, not on a thin ground.
